Coco Gauff Eyes Serena Williams’ Place in Tennis as She Treads Unfamiliar Path With Iconic American Brand

While they may not have crossed paths on the tennis court, Coco Gauff and Serena Williams have come up against each other, albeit off the court. Gauff considers Williams as her idol and took inspiration from her to pursue tennis since childhood. Unfortunately, as Gauff was on the rise, Williams called an end to her career. Despite not facing each other on the court, the duo is locked in an unusual battle.

Recently, the American tennis legend launched her beauty brand, Wyn Beauty. It is another venture added to Williams’ list of growing businesses. Meanwhile, Gauff is also making waves in the beauty industry.

Coco Gauff enters a new partnership

Hours ago, the American sensation took to social media to announce her new partnership. She shared a picture of beauty products via a story on her official Instagram handle and said, “So excited to partner with @carolsdaughter for my first ever beauty shoot! You can shop what was used on set to achieve this look on Amazon!”

It is a multiyear deal wherein Carol’s Daughter will be named the official hair sponsor of a professional tennis player, Coco Gauff. Not only will Gauff follow suit of her idol, Williams, but also uplift Black beauty for a new generation.

Meanwhile, Williams also makes the news because of her brand, Wyn Beauty. It launched ten products across the face, eyes, and lips in a bid to enhance the 5-minute make-up game. Thus, emulating her idol, Gauff is excited about what future opportunities it holds by partnering with a beauty brand.

Gauff can’t be prouder after partnering with Carol’s Daughter

While announcing the partnership, Gauff sounded excited to align with this brand. With this partnership, she aims to revolutionize black beauty for the new generation.

Talking about it, she said“I’m delighted to announce my partnership with Carol’s Daughter. Their knowledge of natural hair care is unmatched, and I couldn’t be prouder to align with a brand that shares my values. I’m excited to help continue their mission of empowering millions of women and little girls to embrace their curls and coils with pride and authenticity.”

While she is following Williams’ footsteps off the court, Gauff would like to emulate her idol on the court as well. With clay season commencing, Gauff will have to pull up her socks to achieve success.
