Emma Raducanu spotted in Oxfordshire amid Oxford University links

Emma Raducanu has been spotted on a day trip to Oxfordshire before the US Open.

The tennis star is gearing up for yet another tournament this summer with the major American competition kicking off today (Monday, August 19) with qualifiers.

This follows her exploits at Wimbledon back in July where she was knocked out in the fourth round by Lulu Sun.

Raducanu was also defeated at the WTA 500 event in Washington when she lined up against Paula Badosa at the quarter-final stage.

The 21-year-old had turned heads earlier this summer though off the court as she was spotted on a day trip to Oxford.

She has now visited the county again, being spotted in Henley this time around after a social media post.

Raducanu posted a photograph of her on the town corner where Duke Street intersects with Friday Street outside KVB Design.

This was alongside other photos of the town including some shots beside boats and the water of the River Thames.

After her first Oxfordshire trip this year, the tennis star was linked to a potential stay in Oxford studying at the university.
